Back by popular demand!
Rose Cottage Garden is looking forward to seeing you again this year, and although there is nothing on sale yet I can guarantee that garlic scapes, rhubarb and asparagus will be ready soon.

Just Give Me a Call
Although Rose Cottage Garden is closed for the season, give me a call if you want any of the following and I'll be glad to provide it for you.

Green tomatoes @ $ .50 per pound
Apple jelly @ $ 3.00 per jar (or $ 1.50 for a small jar)
After October 1st I will also have beets and carrots @ $ 2.50 per bunch.

Another Season Ends
This is the final weekend for Rose Cottage Garden so come early for the best selection as supplies are limited. This week I have the following:
Apple Jelly @ $ 3.00 per jar (or $ 1.50 for a sample jar)
Carrots @ $ 2.50 per bunch
Chard, Lettuce & Chicory @ $ 2.00 per bag
Parsnips (very limited supply) @ $ 2.00 per bag
Sage, Parsley, Dill and Mint @ $ 2.00 per bunch
Tomatoes (green or red) @ $ 1.00 per pound
Kohlrabi, Green Peppers, Cabbage - prices will vary

A One-Week Break
Rose Cottage Garden will be closed on Saturday Sept. 14th. However, please visit on Sept. 21st when the next harvest of red and white beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, cabbage and ground cherries (tomatoes) and several other surprises will be ready.

Rose Cottage Garden will be open on Saturday Sept. 7th from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. Come early for the best selection.

Cabbage @ $ 2.00 per head
Chicory @ $ 2.00 per bag (cut fresh while you wait)
Dill weed and flower @ $ 2.00 per bunch (cut fresh while you wait)
Garlic @ .50 per head (smaller heads only)
Mint @ $ 2.00 per bunch (cut fresh while you wait)

The designation 'cut fresh while you wait' is meant to give you the freshest product possible while at the same time avoiding wastage.

Temporary Lull
There will be less available than usual on Saturday August 31st due to an unexpectedly busy week. However, the following staples will be on tap.

Green tomatoes (suitable for pickling) @ $ 1.00 per pound
Potatoes (not pretty but still delicious) @ $ .50 per pound
Carrots (limited supply) @ $ 2.50 per bunch
Fennel (small) @ $ 1.00 each
Baby leeks (just like bunching onions) @ $ 2.00 per bunch
Purple basil @ $ 2.00 per bunch
Dill @ $ 2.00 per bunch
